Get all day care and coverage, including assisting at the reception and bustling your gown so that you can dance and party care-free. Or if you are changing gowns, I'll help you switch then pack and prep your gown for preservation.

I arrive at the agreed upon time for the event and while the bridal party is getting ready I steam and prep the allotted garments. I will assist the bride and her preferred attendant (mother, maid of honor, etc) as the bride gets into her gown. This means helping make sure any slips, corsets, etc are properly in place while still stepping aside and allowing for sweet moments between the bride and her attendant. 
Throughout this process I will be available to make any last minute repairs (reattach sashes, hooks, buttons, beading, etc), treat any spots or stains on any garment, and assist in any way that I can – providing the bride and allotted garments get first priority.

My service minimum is for 4 hours and includes prep for the bridal gown as well as 3 additional outfits/garments, but you can always book more garment care for $50 each. I do recommend clients consider booking more time when adding prep for more than 2 additional garments to still allow time for dressing assistance.
The 5th and 6th hours of service each get an additional garment included; however, 7 or more hours only include 5 additional outfits as the extended hours are intended to be devoted to the event + portraits.

Every additional hour is $150 and you can apply this to prep or the event (portraits + reception) in whatever portion you prefer and as time allows.
*4 hours must be devoted to the prep + ceremony, but you can choose to apply additional hours to prep or post-ceremony depending on your schedule. However, service time is continuous and cannot be broken up or paused.

During your portraits my job will be to help you and your photographer in whatever way arrises, in a manner that empowers them without hinderance and respects their time and ability to capture beautiful photos. Whether this means helping to carry your skirt so it stays clean, fluffing your train for beautiful shots, or adjusting any details as their/your honorary assistant. After all, who better to care for and help style your gown than a seamstress?

No problem! My goal is to provide you with the ultimate care and enable the vendors I work alongside to do their jobs more easily. Dressing is intended to be done in a behind-the-scenes manner, and I want to make your day better and easier while aiding and allowing space for all of the amazing vendors you've hired!
And you can always check with your planner but, even if they include or you have a day-of coordinator, most likely their goal is to see that your overall day and schedule is attended to. Planners and coordinators have a lot to oversee and it's such a relief to have the extra security of a person specifically devoted to you and your attire.

Absolutely! I am not limited strictly to metro Kansas City.
While I do include milage fees in Dressing Services for all bookings, fees for travel, transportation and lodging are required only if travel time and booked hours exceed a total of 11 hours.
